Word from over at the homie Fresh's spot is that Justin Timberlake's opening monologue for ESPN's Espy awards was edited 'cause of some "comfortably racial joke" he decided to share about Boston Celtic Paul Pierce's knee injury in Game 1 durin' the NBA Finals. Peep what he said here for the "shucking and jiving" comment.
This is what happens as soon as somebody gets comfortable. You know Paul was there in the audience and evern though no one laughed, how was he supposed to feel? I'm not understandin' the fake Rosta's in the picture NOR the black team puppets.
All the r&b and rap collabos with black artists have obviously put Justin in the frame of mind that he has a pass to joke like this. I'm not surprised.
I know ESPN had a rehearsal before the show even aired but it's wild how they wait until AFTER the show is taped, and the joke didn't get the REACTION he or they probably thought they'd get and all of a sudden, oh let's cut that part out. Please.

Justin perceives himself to be real cool as he continues to perpetrate this fraud of being a brotha. One somebody who I guarantee won`t go for ish is a "real" brotha by the name of Nas.
Nas is a very conscious brotha who`s well in tune with the game. It`s just stupidity that so many others swing from this "white" boys nuts.
Just think the media crucified Janet for the superbowl incident with this same "white" boy in 04`, yet he`s given a pass. We all know the reason why; YT...
Hey Terence! I agree with you 100% and it pains me to know that those sentiments are truth.
You know, I've been listenin' to Nas's album every day since I got it and he talks a helluva good game on SO many tracks but one thing that will always bother me is that on the NIGGER single, Nas says Eminem is ok with him for usin' the term.....*confused*. That's absurd. I don't think there should be degrees of "racial slurring" that's ok between folks. Justin Timberlake is a prime example of somebody white who would misinterpret that and think it's ok for him to use it too, which I have a pretty good notion that he already has, considering the kinda company he's been keepin' lately over the last 5 years.
