Okay first of all *calmly sits down my coffee cup*.....the task of combin' the child's hair wouldn't be so violent if it was calmly taken care of every day. The brush she's usin' - for hair that long, tangled and dry is ALL WRONG....and the forceful strokes she's usin' is ALL WRONG. You know what this is? This is beast wit' a weave in her own head, with real hair probably shorter and nappier than a stitch, takin' her frustrations out on her daughter's "length". The way she talks to her and the rough way she's groomin' her lets me know that she probably does her hair once a week and thinks she's justifed in roughin' her hair up. You gotta wash a black child's hair and condition it and if it ain't a certain grade, you know damn well you gotta part that stuff, lubricate that scalp and warm comb a tough crop! Not just let that stuff go dry and tangled for days! Who's holdin' the camera!? Seriously, this time.

Why? That lil girl has spongy hair it is not that hard to comb a childs hair when it is that texture. Now as far as her hollering that is a no no. Why keep brushing? Use a comb and some blue majic.

BUY A HUMECTANT CONDITIONER LIKE NEXUS OR SUAVE, leave it in ,wet the brush a little, the wet brush will glide through,add a little protein gel to hold the pony tail....this is abuse!all she needs is a cup of water next to her to dip the brush in,put a towel over the CHILDS shoulders...in the cold weather use only gel on that type of hair...deep condition is the key...poor little girl...the mother obviously is jealous of her childs texture
